I think most of these poems are not valid, never will, because Haiku contains not just 17 syllables, but - and here sorry for my bad english, I'm hungarian - there are a unit in these syllables, we call them "mora" in Hungary, so Haiku contains 5-7-5 mora, not syllable. And 1 syllable not always equal as 1 mora. You need to know the lenght of the syllable. For example we have a type called dactilus (– ∪ ∪) which is long-short-short = 4 mora. For example a word from my language: életem (means "my life") is dactilus É-LE-TEM long-short-short. And it is 3 syllables but NOT 3 moras, because of the long one It's 4 :-D So in hungarian it's almost impossible to write a good haiku.
Ok, I don't know how are syllable lenght in english but I think these poems just only wannabe-haikus ) BUT it's not a problem, I love them all what you wrote and it is a really fun contest and I love to be part of this community Thanks!
Well this site helped me to count them. My native language is not english too. https://www.howmanysyllables.com/
